 Sub: Message exchange with Bank-Account opening and drawback related messages.

              Importers/Exporter, Customs House Agents and members of the trade are hereby informed about the implementation of message exchange with designated bank regarding drawback and account opening related messages.

            For implementing drawback related messages, Custom House has to first synchronize its database with the bank by following the stipulated procedure reproduced herewith as Annexure –A.

            For opening an account with bank for drawback remittance purpose, the exporter shall approach designated customs officer with a written request in the format reproduced herewith as Annexure-B.

            These guidelines will be applicable for all S/B’s filed under Indian Customs EDI System (ICES) relating to drawback.
